Currently, we are seeking a IT Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Group. The IT Business Systems Analyst will work in partnership with the Manager of Automations and various business groups to implement and support current applications. This role will assist with the administration of our core business applications and will be charged with the development of training sessions as well as support for end users of the system. The IT Business Analyst is responsible for assisting as well as leading projects as assigned by the Manager of Automations as well as the Director of Information Technology.

In this role you will:

Business Systems Liaison

• Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges.
• Serve as a primary product owner (business expert) on internal and external software development project teams to champion the ideas of the business stakeholders, ensuring what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives of the project.
• Facilitation of testing and end-user support.
• Support department with first-line software issues and training.
• Analyze relevant data
• Problem-solve and find ways for an organization to work more effectively

 Implementation & Development

• Assist with evaluating new software packages for applicability at Cannistraro.
• Assist with future deployment of applications.
• Plan and implement supportive business solutions
• Recommend new system developments

Application Project Management and Support

• Track project status and management with timely status updates.
• Assist in troubleshooting current applications at Cannistraro.

 Leadership/Management

• Build partnerships and relationships with business groups and application groups to drive business results.
• Provide a constant flow of communication with key internal partners and foster teamwork to achieve optimum performance.
• Exhibit the value of competencies for the company, department, employees, and business partners.
• Promote positive safety culture by adhering to policies and procedures set out by the department.

A successful candidate will have:

• 3 years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field
• Sharp analytical skills to creatively solve problems and remove roadblocks.
• Ability to combine a strong understanding of internal customer needs with an understanding of existing technology infrastructure to create a path to actionable technology-advancing solutions.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
• Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate work in a timely manner.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to analyze and process data in an efficient way.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
