We’re currently seeking a Parts Runner for our site in Seattle, Washington.

The Parts Runner primary role is to deliver parts, prepare invoices, perform inventory counts, and maintain customer order records.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform inventory counts
• Able to handle all types of customer parts phone inquiries in a diplomatic, friendly and businesslike manner
• Ability to pick, pack, and ship parts in a timely and accurate manner (must be able to lift 50 lbs.)
• Enters appropriate inventory information into the computer in a timely and accurate manner
• Deliver parts as necessary (including to vessels or terminals) in a parts van.
• Accurately invoice customers
• Pull parts and track repair production for mechanics.
• Send reports to management in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate forklift, Hostler Truck, and other equipment if requested.

Qualifications

• Working and driving in all weather conditions
• Long periods of standing and sitting
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card 
• Energetic and customer driven
• Good organizational skills
• Previous parts room experience a plus
• Effective verbal and written communications, with ability to enter data on a computer terminal
• Excellent people skills
• Forklift certification a plus
