Operations Analyst

iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs.

We are looking for a Full-Time Operations Analyst to join our team.  The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial statement activity.  This position will also provide support to the accounting department.  The Operations Analyst will also be required to assist with payroll processing, maintaining personnel records, and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.

Responsibilities:

While responsibilities may vary, the following are general duties that may or may not be required of a particular employee in this position:

• Assists with the inputting and preparation of financial statements for all business divisions
• Perform detailed reviews of actual financial results, investigates variances to expected results and provide explanations
• Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentation of findings, analysis, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments in recording and analyzing financial data
• Assist with payroll processing and other payroll related functions as assigned.
• Assists with onboarding of new employees as well as the offboarding process
• Organizing and maintaining personnel records
• Provide business administration support to management.
• Contribute to a team effort by completing other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Sound understanding of Excel
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others
