ITA is seeking a System Administrator to join the team at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
ITA is seeking a System Administrator to support the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing at Eglin AFB, FL, whose mission is to deliver adaptive and cutting-edge electromagnetic spectrum capabilities that provide the warfighter a tactical and strategic competitive advantage and freedom to attack, maneuver, and defend. The 350 SWW falls under the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) and is comprised of two Groups: the 850th and 350th Spectrum Warfare Groups (SWG) and nine Electronic Warfare Squadrons (EWS).
This support includes but is not limited to:
General System Administrator (SysAd) Support: The Contractor shall provide general SysAd support across the organization for staff support, system maintenance, repair, maintain servers, software systems and networks. Implement, troubleshoot, diagnose, validate, and resolve hardware, software, firmware and network problems. Configure, maintain and upgrade network connection devices, network hardward/software equipment, and automation equipment, run utility software, isolating client, server, or peripheral configuration problems, cleaning file systems and extraneous temporary and log files, and maintaining the approved system baseline. Develop and enhance SolarWinds application LAN/WAN and server monitoring, reporting and alerting processes across the MAJCOM to improve device health, status, reporting, and patching. Identify communications service requirements. Provide weekly updates of activity and status as requested, attend meetings to provide leadership situational awareness and recommendations.Evaluate and apply LOGCOP tool and techniques, e.g. dashboards to visualize a COP, to create a data driven organization.
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years' experience as a System Administrator. IA Technical level II (GSEC, Security , CE, SSCP) certifications IAW DoDD 8570 and DoDD 8570.01-M.SECRET Clearance required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):- Bachelor's degree in in computer science, information management, or related discipline plus 3-5 years experience ORAssociates Degree in computer science, information management or related discipline plus 5-7 years experience.. - Minimum Two (2) years' experience in administrating, configuring, installing and technical expertise in managing and operating SolarWinds- Minimum Two (2) years' experience in telecommunications and network administration in a large distributed environment with emphasis on military operations-Minimum Two (2) years' experience in life-cycle management of LAN/WAN, Test and evaluation, data performance and collection, quality assurance metrics and Microsoft Office applications- Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP) or UNIX systems, network control center operations, requirement ana;ysis, and computer-aided drawing, preferably Visio.- Three (3) years' experience demonstrating network planning and integration knowledge- Three (3) years' experience with numbered air force (NAF) or higher staff organizations and base-level network architecture, as well as technical experience working issues with AFSPC NetOps organizations.- Two (2) year's experience in the installation, implementation, backups, administration and management of all aspects of SolarWinds.- Three (3) years' experience using Micro-soft suite of applications tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Sharepoint. - Excellent organization, administrative and interpersonal skills.- Able to manage the varied tasks associated with multiple projects, prioritize, thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Exceptional attention to detail and acumen.- Professional and collaborativeThe work will be executed in the Conntinental U.S. (CONUS), primarily at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and the contractor’s site.
