We are seeking an organized, detail oriented, quick-learning and personable Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity reporting directly to our CFO and positioned to be a key player within the Corporate Operations team. The right individual will:

  • Prepare and disseminate contract modifications
  • Log and track requests for contract action documents
  • Provide file and database management for contract management system
  • Participate in data call responses as required
  • Compile and report contract status reports as needed
  • Prepare contract documentation for briefings/meetings
  • Manage contracts for settlement/Close Out
  • Work with different levels of personnel within an organization, including customers, to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy
  • Resolve any existing contract conflicts
  • Work with the team to negotiate terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied for existing contracts as needed
  • Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization

Qualifications

  • 3-9 years related experience in federal contract administration
  • High level of accountability and responsibility
  • Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
  • Excellent reading and language comprehension
  • Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization
  • Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts under the direction and supervision of the Corporate Controller
  • Proven management and leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
