Job Summary Responsible for maintenance duties in inedible egg processing facility, including but not limited to routine and preventative maintenance of process equipment, buildings, and grounds. Duties & Responsibilities Strictly follows all plant safety procedures and guidelines. Maintains mechanical systems, including but not limited to Dryer, Concentration Skids, Boiler, Chilling. Conducts preventative and routine maintenance of building, equipment and grounds. Trouble shoot and repair electrical or mechanical issues with production equipment. Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent product quality/safety problems from occurring. Successfully complete assigned maintenance tasks in allotted time. Communicate with management on day-to-day maintenance issues. Assist with parts inventory. Understand and interpret company, industry, state and federal regulations. All other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications Mechanically inclined - Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely. Ability to weld and fabricate metal. Electrical knowledge. Knowledge of basic chemical usage and safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in high elevations. Ability to read, understand, and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand. Independent Self-Starter/Team Player. Mathematical Skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions. Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
