ISMG - Information Security Media Group is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Princeton, NJ

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for acting as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The Business Development Representative will be tasked with seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Our ideal team member will leverage their communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through close. If you are motivated and results-driven, then we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Identify and acquire new clients through diligent and targeted outreach via cold-call/email. 
  • Present ISMG and our offerings to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  • Provide sales results on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing and payment plans.

Requirements/Desired Experience:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calls and emails.
  • Successful track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience with Salesforce and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
