Job Description: The candidate would join a 32 -member breast service currently responsible for breast imaging at the main campus in New York City and across multiple regional ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Ex c ellence sites on Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey . The section interprets over 115,000 breast imaging exams annually including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, contrast mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and breast interventional procedures including radioactive seed localization . The department is equipped with all state-of-the-art equipment, will have a new PACs system in 2024, and has outstanding clinical support for Radiology.
The position is a wonderful opportunity for the breast imager who aspires to be part of a dynamic team work ing in an academically based practice in a suburban setting with excellent work-life balance . The successful candidate wi ll have exceptional skills in all aspects of state-of-the-art breast imaging and intervention , we are flexible if candidate is interested in interpreting other modalities . Other responsibilities include on-site consultation and participation in imaging and multidisciplinary conferences.
