The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic Quality Manager with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.The QA/QC Manager position is responsible for a broad range of quality activities within the project. The QA/QC Manager will be required to plan audit or surveillance of activities, and of subcontractors, suppliers and sub-suppliers. The QA/QC Manager will be expected to become familiar with the project standards and project Quality Management System. The QA/QC Manager organizes and maintains the ISC Constructors, L.L.C. Quality Assurance/Quality Control Site Specific Plan and the ISC Avoidance of Re-work Program as required by ISC Constructors, L.L.C. Assist all ISC departments with any quality or contractibility needs. Works out of a main office or out of a field office at the construction site, monitors all phases of the construction project. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services. The QA/QC Manager reports directly to the Corporate Quality Director. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Assist the Quality Director in the development and review of the project Quality Program documentation manuals, work processes and reporting of quality records management of quality documents.
• Assist the Quality Director in developing a jobsite orientation program to ensure the project team is familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Program.
• Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement, and initiating or recommending solutions.
• Review and status subcontractor or supplier quality document submittals (Quality Plans, Test & Inspection Plans, procedures), to ensure effective controls are in place in key areas.
• Deliver audit assessment findings to Quality Director and evaluate the need for any corrective / preventative action.
• Interface with management and Client personnel as needed during resolution of quality issues or during Client audits.
• Assure that the contract obligations' for testing and record keeping are adhered to.
• Control calibrated measuring and test equipment used on the project.
• Ensure proper turnover of complete quality control package(s). Responsible for ensuring that turnover documentation is maintained, organized and turned over on schedule.
• Work closely with other groups and support timely reviews of documents or issues requiring QA action.
• A professional appearance coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize a fast paced ever-changing scope of work.
• Foster a work environment that promotes safety, quality, openness, trust, communication, team-work and customer satisfaction.
• All other duties as normally required by our QA/QC Department, and as required by day-to-day business.
• Work within Company policy as outlined in the ISC Constructors, L.L.C. Handbook and in compliance with the Safety Manual.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge in the application of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection, testing, certification or operation practices, sufficient to comprehend specified requirements is desired.
• Strong computer skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to E/I installation and testing.
• Candidates for this position should have 8 years related experience in industrial work.
• 5 years QA/QC experience required in fabrication/testing/installation of E/I is essential experience.
