Isagenix is Hiring a Supply Planner Near Gilbert, AZ

Position Summary

Responsible for the planning and managing of finished goods inventory to meet inventory requirements and goals. The Supply Planner is expected to manage production plans, inventory results for Finished Goods products. This position steers inventory per the essential Supply Chain Planning parameters such as production frequency, lead times, capacity and related planning perspectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Develop monthly production plans for Finished Good products.
  • Manage Contract Manufacturers execution to Purchase Order requested delivery date / quantity.
  • Analyze mid to long term capacity constraints and provide recommendations to proactively resolve constraints; quantify business unit decisions as it relates to inventory goals and budgets.
  • Proactively communicate with customer service, catalog, Marketing/Sales when availability issues arise that will impact order fulfillment and provide projected backorder and delivery dates.
  • Communicate production dates and finished goods availability to all interested parties.
  • Set up and maintain Master Data accuracy within Planning System(s); determine optimized order quantities, safety stock parameters and production frequencies.
  • Prepare and present obsolete material reports and inventory aging reports to department leadership.
  • Steer overall inventory to meet Organizational inventory goals.
  • Work closely with Purchasing to guarantee efficient communication processes with contract manufacturing sites are maintained through meetings and reporting schedules and ensure appropriate lead times and minimum order quantities are in effect.
  • Partner with Demand Planners, Purchasing, Contract Manufactures, Customer Service and Suppliers on a day to day basis.
  • Monitor adherence to plan and handle routine problems; seek assistance from senior level planners or management as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of supply chain planning, inventory management, transportation / distribution and/or customer service systems and processes.
  • JDA/Blue Yonder or other forecast software proficiency.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess an expert understanding of statistical theory and associated best practices.
  • Solid quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • The office environment requires the use of standard office equipment and personal computers.
  • Environment requires the ability to work in a fast-paced office where daily challenges occur and volumes can be heavy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline .
  • 4 years of supply chain planning, inventory management, transportation / distribution and/or customer service systems and processes.
  • APICS coursework or credential.
  • Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP transactional data.
