Retail Store Manager

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire retail store operations. Your goal will be pivotal in establishing the customer centric environment. Your success will be measured by providing day to day operational support to and for all operations and team members.

Your Responsibilities:

• Interact and build relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
• People champion through effective recruitment, on-boarding, performance management and learning and development.
• Create staff schedules and monitor closely to manage payroll costs.
• Ensure operating standards and procedures, including store opening/closing, are executed safely, properly, and securely and effectively address customer demand.
• Promote daily/weekly/monthly specials in store and in the forecourt.
• Maintain the highest level of store and forecourt cleanliness and safety for customers and staff.
• Big focus on food service; increasing sales, monitoring service standards, safety and quality.
• Keep store, interior and exterior, along with forecourt, refreshed and attractive through effective merchandising and organization.
• Focus on effectively controlling costs including purchases, supplies and staff hours.

Your Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker
• Strong customer relationship management skills

Your Experience:

• Previous work experience in the hospitality or retail industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience.
• Strong analytical and business acumen.
