Overview

Ironwood Dental Care is looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide quality patient care on Tuesdays and select Saturdays. The successful candidate will have a passion for oral health and be able to perform various dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care, and prior knowledge of Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best patient care to all patients
• Maintain proper schedule flow and stay on time with appointments
• Educate patients on the importance of oral health
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth, such as fluorides and sealants
• Maintain patient confidentiality 
• Update patient’s chart as needed
