Ironside is Hiring a Senior Account Executive Near Cincinnati, OH

The individual selected for the AE is expected to accomplish the following results:

  • Exceed the company’s assigned annual sales quota for the territory, assigned account base, or target market segment.
  • Exceed the company’s goals for indirect channel development, primarily through selling solutions with/through Ironside partners.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer and partner satisfaction as measured by feedback or surveys.
  • Maintain variable expenses within the annual expense budget assigned
  • The AE’s performance relative to these objectives will be reviewed each quarter.
  • Proactively anticipate business needs and revenue opportunities within the target market segment and provide feedback to Ironside management.
  • Ensure new and existing customer engagements are completely documented in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, appropriately priced and legally contracted.
  • Assist with the discovery phase in the form of questions and information gathering to be able to identify requirements.
  • Deliver Ironside product and solution presentations and demonstrations
  • Devise creative initiatives to minimize the customer sales cycle.
  • Working with the marketing team on tradeshows, webinars and partner programs.
  • Assisting the Ironside Channel Sales function in the development of Ironside channel partners, including sales training programs, joint account calls, account management and planning.

Your Proven Track Record:

  • Deep understanding of the business value of AI/ML, data analytics, BI, and cloud (specifically AWS technologies)
  • A documented history of building ongoing, profitable relationships with both end-user customers and sales channel partners.
  • Proven track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas (in normal selling circumstances).
  • 5-7 year successful track record of selling enterprise solutions into IT departments and LOBs at large and mid-sized companies in a direct sales model.
  • A strong technical acumen with the ability to translate that experience into business outcomes for clients.
  • A history of proven results with leading-edge marketing, business development, and sales techniques and systems.
  • A strong reference from a sales peer or manager that specifically illustrates sales abilities.
  • 3 references from customers and industry contacts.
  • An undergraduate degree is required.

  • History of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • A distinct ability to work effectively with internal team members – a team player.
  • Track record of reaching, influencing and persuading senior decision-makers.
  • An ability to function as an internal negotiator, facilitator and advocate for customer needs and concerns, but with the company’s best interest in focus.
  • Effective at directing the interface between external and internal business and technical groups.
  • Able to keep pace with bright, technical colleagues.
  • A risk taker, calculated to balance risk and reward.
  • Fast thinker who can react quickly and cleverly to new information and changing conditions.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary to timely meetings with senior levels of management at target prospects and existing customers.
