Iowa Wild is Hiring a Marketing Communications Coordinator Near Des Moines, IA

As our Marketing Communications Coordinator, YOU WILL: 

  • Partner across our organization. Your home base is marketing and we support our entire organization. Your job will be to support our Marketing Team with all email communications such as promotions, ticket pack activations, giveaways, and the State Fair, to name a few. You’ll work with internal partners and get your hands on paid media planning and trafficking, copywriting, and internal communication, keeping information flowing and projects moving forward.
  • Organize and drive marketing projects. We are a small team, but we pack a hard punch. Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously are a must. You will assist internal stakeholders in organizing processes, collecting and connecting the pieces, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Share your expertise with the organization. You will bring your unique experiences and skillsets to our team. By doing so, you will add your distinctive touch to our Iowa Wild Website to showcase technology builds, such as ticketing platforms, our chatbot, email marketing initiatives, wild.com, and beyond. You’ll assist in writing, proofreading, and editing copy for all marketing efforts, ticket promotions, membership retention, and brand messages, by working with internal stakeholders to ensure we don’t miss a beat.
  • Create impactful collateral across social media, digital and other platforms. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will work on projects from across the organization, but with a focus on digital/web touchpoints in both static and motion graphics. Additionally, this position will work on deliverables including print, logo design, production artwork, and much more!
  • Bring new ideas to the team. You will participate in brainstorming/conceptual discussions to share new content ideas and perspectives. We are looking for a trendsetter that is up to date on techniques and technology to advise on how to create impactful digital layouts.

THE FINE PRINT:

  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Experience in graphic design/visual communications or a similar field or role.
  • Strong skills in creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Eloqua and graphics-related Adobe Creative cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
