IOMAXIS is Hiring an Acquisition Specialist Near Quantico, VA

Responsibilities

IOMAXIS is seeking an Acquisition Specialist who shall provide leadership in the planning, review and execution of purchases of hardware, software and services from technology contractors.

The Acquisition Specialist shall perform the following duties:

  • Provide advice, guidance and the creation of annual spend plans.
  • Create strategy for creating maximum impact from annual funding, through cost savings and alternative product options.
  • Management of companies including but not limited to ordering, bill payment, and vendor liaison.
  • Track and ensure payment of monthly bills for services.
  • Assist engineering team with Analysis of Alternatives
  • Obtain Quotes and cost estimates from Vendors.
  • Protect nature of systems and services purchases through this program
  • Lead the creation of budget planning and assist the government with submission of annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team to plan and execute new purchases of hardware and software.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university/college with five (5) years’ experience; Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field with three (3) years’ experience; PhD in Accounting, Business Administration or related field with one (1) year experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Minimum/General Experience: Five (5) years of experience with Acquisition and procurement. Successful candidate shall have recent work experience as a senior-level or technical lead in a related position on a major program, project, or activity. Recent experience in the direct performance of a major program, project, or activity relating to procurement and program management.

Clearance Required: Top Secret
