Territory Sales Manager - Energy Division

Remote (work from home)

Overview
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for the performance of their identified territory,
with a primary focus on developing new accounts and strengthening relationships with existing
accounts. You will help generate and execute a sales strategy, including customer acquisition,
sales targets, proactive customer communication, and forecasting etc. You will be responsible
for understanding the latest technologies and updates within the solar industry. The Territory
Sales Manager (TSM) will maintain a (remote) home office and travel to meet with customers
and attend trade shows. 

Responsibilities
● Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business
opportunities, and select deals in line with strategies
● Identify trends and customer needs to build short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities
● Work with marketing and product development to support sales initiatives
● In-depth understanding of products
● Provide prospect and client feedback to support and product development
● Work with the wider sales team to turn opportunities with prospective clients into deals
by playing an active role within the sales process
● Interface with customers during the sales process through presentations and/or
demonstrations of the services and by responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)
and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
● Continually expand technical product knowledge acting as the subject matter expert
● Demonstrate the superiority and value of our products to potential and existing clients
● Attend internal and external sales meetings and trade shows
● Support with the creation of pre-sales documents
● Maintain a positive working environment
● Meet and exceed sales targets each month

Qualifications
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
● Highly motivated by revenue generation and establishing new clients
● Demonstrate excellent knowledge of key technologies and concepts
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, including written and oral
● Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
● Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Excellent organizational skills
● Ability to interact with senior-level stakeholders
