About the job

Inxeption is looking for a dynamic IT Associate to join our Team. This position will work in parallel with other IT peers providing front-line support to end users on hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and data issues. Success in this position will largely be determined by a candidate’s willingness to provide proactive and empathetic communication and the ability to provide superior support and service to a wide variety of internal, vendor, and external contacts.

This role will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of IT and company initiatives. We have a small, thoughtful team and are looking for someone to step in and embrace our brand of IT culture here at Inxeption.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to complete employee onboarding and offboarding including creating accounts, prepping and shipping hardware
  • Responsible for ensuring users are provided with efficient and timely support on general office software and access requests
  • Act as one of the primary technical supports for all helpdesk requests
  • Provide professional and timely support for a wide range of managed equipment and software
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
  • Identify and implement solutions to resolve customer support tickets and issue tickets
  • Participate in generating ideas for improving existing procedures and/or task automation
  • Bridge the gap and explain technology to non-technical folks
  • Assist in equipment asset management as well as the set-up and configuration of onboarding hardware and access
  • Assist with system access changes in relation to employee onboarding and/or employee offboarding
  • Maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and policies

 Requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge of IT and computer systems
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
