Inxeption is Hiring a Full Stack Engineer Near Louisville, KY

About the job

Inxeption is looking for a dynamic Full Stack Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. As a member of the team, you will be actively involved in the development and improvement of both internal tools and external applications that will support the success of Inxeption and our expanding roster of commerce partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers, fellow software developers, and QA test engineers to build tools and streamline processes around build, test, code review, deployment, and other release-related tasks
  • Communicate with leadership, product owners, other technologists, and users to create working software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities
  • Participate in Scrums and be an active member in our 3 week sprints
  • Work closely with Engineering management and the Product and UX teams to help us move forward, identify and resolve issues faster, and hit milestones on schedule
  • Understand our products from both a technical and business perspective in the context of our larger business
  • You will collaborate with teams to define and build interfaces and integration points using REST/GraphQL services

Requirements:

  • Highly self-driven and passionate about working in a dynamic, exciting environment with smart people who have high expectations for both themselves and others
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 6 years of experience writing Node.js
  • 3 years working on Single Page JavaScript Application (React, Angular, etc.). React experience is preferred
  • Extensive experience with Git
  • Experience with Jenkins, Jira, and Docker
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience writing unit tests and app tests
  • Experience with performing SaaS and/or cloud deployments
  • Experience working with databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
  • Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL services
  • Experience working with mobile-first responsive UI
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes is preferred
  • Any experience with Prisma, Yoga, Nock, Sinon, Moment, and/or Lodash is nice to have
  • Any experience in Industrial Shipping and/or Logistics is nice to have
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Great oral and written communication skills
