Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Asset Protection Associates to join our dynamic and quickly growing team. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties in various environments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to act quickly in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other disturbances.
• Maintain visibility to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, observing (either directly, through patrols, or by watching alarm systems or video cameras) for signs of crime, fire, or disorder.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote security awareness.
• Keep detailed records of suspicious incidents and report observations to the management.
• Enforce property rules and regulations as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Conduct regular security checks and risk assessments.
• Manage crowd control and maintain order during events.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not required
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Dependability and integrity.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Physically fit and able to stand and/or sit for long periods.
• Ability to properly lift 40 pounds
• Basic knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.

Working Conditions:

• Must be willing to work in various settings and weather conditions.
• Flexible to work during irregular hours including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations as needed.
