Overview

Intrepid Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work with the team in Washington, DC. 

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Windows domain and child domain architectures.
• Analyze customer functional requirements to develop system requirements specifications and implemented designed solutions.
• Guide customers in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Provide technical leadership regarding the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Integrate new plans, designs, and systems into existing builds.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of systems engineering management plans and systems integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government customers regarding Systems Engineering and technical considerations for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a full-time position with standard operating hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL: This position does not anticipate regular travel.

CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI with CI poly

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma and 10 years of experience
• Associate's Degree and 8 years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience
• Master's Degree and 4 years of experience
• PhD and 2 years of experience

CERTIFICATION(S): 

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA , or CCNA Security.
• Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and specified IT environment. 

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education (BA/BS) and years of experience.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions and enterprise security compliance requirements.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMWare infrastructure and the deployment of virtual machine instances.
• Experience with the following: Infrastructure engineering, enterprise testing & lab environments, active directory, PKI infrastructure, network administration, data center physical server racking and configuration, Linux administration, Infoblox IPAM administration, and procurement testing, and approval of enterprise lab tools.
