Intrepid Solutions and Services, LLC is Hiring an EIMS Portfolio Pipeline Manager Near Ashburn, VA

Overview

Intrepid Solutions is seeking Portfolio Pipeline Manager to join our project’s leadership team. The Portfolio Pipeline Manager will work closely with our Operations Manager, Lead Engineer, Program Manager, and Procurement Manager to create, manage, monitor, and control a growing pipeline of AV-related projects for our DIA customer. The work required for this position can be performed remotely, and there is opportunity to travel to our Headquarters in Ashburn VA to participate in monthly Leadership Team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Ops Manager, PM, Lead Engineer, and customer representatives to create and refine a pipeline of upcoming projects.
• Create, refine, and submit project estimates and proposals following collaborative sessions with key members of the Leadership Team.
• Develop, manage, and maintain a pipeline of projects based on customer needs, budgets, and mission-driven priorities.
• Manage a detailed and sensitive/controlled document library consisting of quotes, estimates, schedules, proposals, and awards.
• Work with the Procurement Manager, Ops Manager, Lead Engineer, and PM to schedule both offsite and customer-site work schedules based on the status of arrived equipment.
• Work with the Procurement Manager to refine equipment price quotes for inclusion into estimates and proposals.
• Work with the Lead Engineer and Ops Manager to refine and align resource availability schedules with customer schedules.
• Provide recommendations on both equipment and manpower/resource scheduling actions which improve efficiencies while reducing risks associated to cost, schedule, and performance.
• Create and provide detailed reports used for project estimations, scheduling, and execution.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a full-time position with standard operating hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL: Once a month to Ashburn, VA office to attend Team Meetings (desired but not required).

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma
• College courses in Business Management (actively enrolled or completed) with a desire to continue professional development with relevant education, training, and certifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5-7 years of relevant Business Operations and Management experience
• Experience thriving in a business environment driven by processes and a continuous improvement mindset.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• 5-7 years of experience creating, managing, and monitoring complex schedules that are exposed to external dependencies and risks.
• 3-5 years of experience drafting, refining, and submitting cost estimates, labor estimates, and consolidated price proposals.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a member of a management team that is responsible for diverse and complex business operations and processes across multiple business disciplines.
• Must have experience working directly with customers to explore needs, refine priorities, and shape opportunities based on available budgets and schedules.
• Superb written skills with the highest levels of attention to detail and analysis.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills backed with a highly personal approach supported by direct engagement with team members and customers.
• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office products such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
