Job Description Account Executive Location: New York City, NY | Hybrid Get To Know The Team: In the field sales role, you will be working directly with our corporate clients, enabling some of the most strategic and highly visible transactions in the business world. You will be building a new green field territory, growing exponentially, while covering pre-IPO to Fortune 1,000 customers in the Western U.S. You will partner with a highly collaborative team in a fast paced environment to drive solutions for M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Secure Document Exchanges, and associated Services. What You Will Get To Do: Identify and establish relationships with C-level and VP-level corporate deal makers through prospecting and marketing for new accounts. Deliver unique Intralinks value propositions to customers through a variety of channels including field, phone meetings, social media, and virtual engagement. Employ value-based conversations to arrive at a highly differentiated solution for unique audiences. Target the right segment of prospects, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals, and manage sales activities that create mutually beneficial, trust-based relationship, and business value. Leverage Solution Selling techniques to drive the sales process and close opportunities through expert negotiation, including managing the contract and approval process for new deals. Lead cross functional teams to deliver exceptional value and experiences to customers, including partnering with Customer Success, Customer Support, Marketing, Engineering, Legal, and Sales Operations. Develop sales strategy and go to market plans, leveraging data, to gain greater market share, prioritize and segment accounts, and win opportunities. Proactively research customer industry trends leveraging tools like Debtwire, Merger Markets, LinkedIn, etc. with the intent of providing value-added customers solutions in support of the customer’s business objectives. Build and maintain strong sales pipeline and forecast, through consistent outbound activities, delivering quality discovery calls and meetings, providing consistent training on new platform capabilities, exceptional customer service, and proactively delivering solutions that solve business pains. Meet or exceed set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for example, number of calls, meetings, and other sales activities. Advocate for customers by quickly resolving escalations, representing the voice of the customer, influencing internal stakeholders. What You Will Bring: Bachelors’ degree preferred. Minimum 2-4 years of proven sales and achievement of quota in a SaaS environment. Preferably in Financial Services sales, Technology Sales. Services sales experience a plus. Solution selling experience with corporate customers required. Experience in outbound outreach. Experience with Salesloft or similar tools preferred. Experience running customer meetings, product demonstrations and customer presentations with VP/C-level executives. Ability to travel 1- 2 times per quarter. Ability to successfully prospect, conduct client presentations and high-level demonstrations as well as manage an entire sales cycle with the goal to generate new business and grow existing revenue streams. Strong account management, territory management, and communication skills. Highly collaborative with a positive attitude, strong cross functional teamwork, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment with many clients.
