InTouch CU is Hiring an Experienced Payroll/HRIS Administrator Near Plano, TX

Welcome to InTouch Credit Union!
  • We are looking for a full-time Payroll/HRIS Administrator who can provide support for the Human Resources (HR) department that includes a range of day-to-day duties to be handled with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Our ideal candidate will make anywhere between $57,060.00 - $60,230.00 for this role.
  • Schedule will follow a Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. to support our branches in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
  • This role is eligible to participate in the ITCU Exempt Employee Incentive Program, which can pay up to 5% of the annual salary, prorated based on the date of hire. (This incentive is based on the credit union achieving established service and financial measurements.)
What about the Duties & Responsibilities?
  • Manage full scope of the multi-state payroll process, including but not limited to the following:
  • Process all Payroll Change Forms (PCF) pertinent to payroll including supporting documentation, garnishments, tax forms, deductions, audit trails, and permanent employee records.
  • Responsible for all multi-state and local tax set-up, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Maintain bi-weekly payroll folders, ensure all Payroll Change Forms (PCF) are reviewed for accuracy, required reports are printed, reviewed, and placed in folder.
  • Audit and prepare incentive bonuses received monthly, ensure bonuses are paid per incentive plan eligibility guidelines. Prepare overtime (OT) report.
  • Annually prepare payroll calendars for carriers and payroll vendor.
  • Maintain dual control by ensuring the auditing of payroll data for accuracy by another HR team member prior to submission.
  • Coordinate with Accounting department to balance payroll with the appropriate general ledger accounts and assist with any errors.
  • Send all weekly/holiday payroll reminders to leadership.
  • Complete reconciliation of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) monthly; send to Accounting department and ensure accounts balance to payroll deductions.
  • Support AVP Human Resource in the administration of the 401(k) plan including but not limited to the following:
  • Work closely with AVP Human Resources and Marketing to prepare and send required notices via company intranet to current and eligible plan participants. Keep track for audit purposes.
  • Administrator for Human Resource Information System (HRIS) including but not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for data accuracy and integrity, maintenance, storage, and security of employee personal data, EEO, tax forms/changes, direct deposit, benefits information, demographics, changes of status, transfers, and terminations.
  • Support leadership and employees with HR assistance including the following:
  • Validate/maintain accuracy of vacation, sick and service recognition balances.
  • Maintain Catastrophic Need Bank donation tracking, ensure balances are updated annually with donated hours.
  • Maintain current, complete, and accurate electronic personnel and paper files, including tracking retention periods for documents and proper storage or disposal of documents, such as payroll, tax, and 401k documents.
  • Support AVP Hunan Resources in completion of annual budget.
  • Validate and process all HR department invoices, scan and send for approval weekly via accounts payable system. Ensure copies are maintained in an organized manner to support efficient annual budget planning process.
  • Provide support for the maintenance of HR policies and procedures. Assist leaders and employees by communicating HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Ensure consistent application of policies & procedures.
  • Conduct all HR functions in accordance with applicable statutes (e.g., EEO, OSHA, FLSA, etc.). Maintain current knowledge of employment law, benefits compliance, economic, competitive and technology environments and operationalize into practice.

Requirements
Education/Certification:
  • Associates degree or some college course work preferred with specialization in accounting or related financial field.
Experience:
  • Minimum three years Multi-State Payroll Processing, knowledge of payroll industry software tools.
Required Knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current HR policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ERISA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, EEO and other applicable federal and state laws.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills required in order to successfully complete work responsibilities to achieve deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering rules required.
