Job Type Full-timeDescriptionInterstate is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support our business development efforts and expanding departmental team. The Sales Support Specialist plays an integral role in the business development process and in shaping and advancing how Interstate responds to project opportunities with both new and existing clients. The Sales Support Specialist will report to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality proposals and contracts. This person will also be involved with budgeting, pricing models, contracts, content for client responses, and pipeline management.Our ideal candidate has a passion for writing, experience with service industry businesses, and has the ability to professionally respond to prospect needs. The position supports the various members of our sales team, operations team, marketing team, and management team as we endeavor to increase our revenue through successful collaborations with prospects and customers throughout North America.Schedule: 8:30AM to 5:00PM : Monday through Friday : Onsite positionSalary- $40,000/yearPrincipal Responsibilities: 1. Proposal generation/writing: Support proposal and client response efforts, with a focus on strategy and content and generationEngage with sales team and internal (as well external) management and vendors to produce compelling and customized client-facing messaging focused on winning businessAssemble budget and pricing strategyCoordinate status meetings/teleconferences and draft/final reviews 2. Contracts: Perform the full range of contract functions up to the point of signature, including contract administration and contract closeoutDevelop contracts using standard client contract templates and reading through client-specific contractsAid in developing and structuring contractsReviews new contracts to ensure all necessary clauses have been included. 3. Sales support/enablement: Manage and maintain sales support materials, including knowledge management and materials databaseEstablish, document, and implement processes to enable faster and better selling through proposals and prospect-facing marketing materials.Assist in creating and maintaining Knowledge Database 4. CRM: Knowledge of Salesforce encouragedMaintain an organized pipeline of proposals, metrics and activity records using SalesforceImplement best practices by leveraging Salesforce toolsInput data as necessary. RequirementsRequired Skills:1-3 years of Experience and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business or relatedExcellent written, oral and presentation strategy and development skillsExceptional attention to detailStrong math skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask, as well as re-focus on action items post completing immediate deliverables and successfully making deadlinesAbility to quickly prioritize under pressureUnderstanding of document production process (review cycles and functions of document processing, editing, graphics design, and final assembly)Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.Highly preferred experience with Salesforce, training available.
