Interstate Moving Relocation Logistics is Hiring a Revenue Accounting Processor Near Springfield, VA

SUMMARY

Compiles data and prepares invoices and government vouchers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Retrieve all necessary documents from IVUE and ensure shipment is ready for processing.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for processing.
  • Prepare the GBL, DD619, and DD619-1 with all pertinent information (military billing). Bill of lading and Accessorial Services Certificate (COD, and GSA).
  • Determine point of origin and destination of shipment.
  • Run mileage from PCMiler.
  • Input data from these documents into the system.
  • Print invoices/vouchers.
  • Sign all necessary forms.
  • Prepare file copy of all mail out documents, and send to IVUE.
  • Assist with agent inquiries, notices of overcharges from GSA, and Statement of Differences from National Traffic Services.
  • Prepare notification notices (memos) to agents when their invoice does not match payment.
  • Comprehend and apply all applicable tariffs.
  • Verify information in DPS and enter pre-approval requests when necessary.
  • Respond to assigned Daycos questions.
  • Rate COD shipments using IGC software.


MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS/ STANDARDS OF PRODUCTIVITY
The individual in this position will be expected to:

  • Report to work as scheduled and on time.
  • Process an average of 25 – 30 transactions per day.
  • Answer all agent inquiries within 10 days from receipt of the inquiry.
  • Respond to all notices of overcharges and Statement of accounts within 10 days from receipt of said document.
  • Respond to all the Daycos questions within 3 business days.
  • Be respectful to co-workers at all times.
  • Assist with meeting department goals.
  • Produce quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to operate or have knowledge of the following:

  • A personal computer, calculator, office copier, fax machine, typewriter (minimum 35 wpm).
  • Basic knowledge of the internet. Minimum requirement in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint of Beginner Level (Intermediate Level or higher preferred). Minimum keyboard skill level of 40 wpm.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
