Job Description

SCOPE OF WORK: The Digital Marketing 360 Intern will work to achieve the goals and objectives of the Microenterprise Development program by enhanced technical assistance to Microenterprise Development clients through outreach and client-specific digital marketing projects. This will include, but is not limited to, developing marketing brands, designing, and executing social media campaigns, and setting up or creating a digital presence through social media, email marketing, and website development.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Microenterprise Program Coordinator, the intern will assist with the following:

  • Assist clients with developing and implementing digital marketing strategies 
  • Reach out to local ethic-based organizations for outreach and marketing of the MED program
  • Help clients with market research and data analysis 
  • Work closely with clients to design and execute social media campaigns
  • Assist with developing client’s presence online e.g., social media, SEO, and websites
  • Help with other potential MED program administrative needs
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor or graduate-level education with background in marketing is preferred
  • Business and/or marketing writing skills required
  • Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent in MS Suite
  • Global acumen
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong internal drive with the ability to work proactively without continuous oversight
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Patience, flexibility, & creativity
  • Project management experience is preferred, but not required
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques 
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills 

Note: This is an unpaid internship. Intern must commit to at least 10-15 hours per week for a 3-month minimum. Internship hours are completed between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. This internship is a hybrid position with flexibility in the completion of weekly internship hours.

This position reports to the Microenterprise Program Coordinator
