Position Title: Human Resources Specialist
Pay Rate:$47,300-$63,100
Category/Shift:Salary, Non-Exempt

The Job You Will Perform:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that human resources services are performed on a professional, continuing and consistent basis in the most efficient and expeditious manner possible.
The Human Resources Specialist will report directly to the Plant General Manager. They will work collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager and facility management providing superior human resources services to our employees and the facility. The position will also support the customer service, manufacturing, and finance teams.
- Strong focus on Recruitment and Selection
- Employee engagement
- Maintain employee handbook
- Performance management – surfaces employee concerns and defines key resources to solve the concern
- Affirmative Action Plan and maintaining facility bulletin boards
- Equal Employment
- Employee Benefits – support open enrollment, drive employee self-service, and work with employee service center to resolve benefit questions
- Compensation – Implement local pay practices based on company established pay levels
- Compliance tracking
- Training tracking for compliance training
- Maintenance of personnel files in accordance with records retention policy
- Maintenance of production files daily
- Reception support for the entire facility
- Accurately entering customer orders
- Invoicing and producing estimates for customers on an as needed basis
- Work with production staff and utilize systems for employment transactions, time keeping/payroll, and customer service support
- Run reports as needed
- General administrative services, and other duties as assigned.

The Skills You Will Bring:
- Successful candidate should have 2-3 years of human resources experience.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in human resources, business or a related field is preferred.
