INTERNATIONAL PAPER COMPANY is Hiring a Field Service Tech Near Stockton, CA
- Work safely maintaining housekeeping standards up to part.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Repair machinery in a field environment.
- Performs machine installs, set up’s and change-over’s.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
- High School Graduate, trade school preferred.
- Must have valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
- 5 years of hands on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Additional training in Electrical, Pneumatics and basic parts fabrication strongly desired.
- Corrugated experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance methods.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems with various pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and effectively initiate immediate corrective action.
- Working knowledge and ability to utilize personal computers and software.
- Working knowledge and ability to utilize shop equipment to include drill press, lathe, mill, welding/fabricating tools, etc.
- Ability to understand specification sheets, PLC’s, control logic and schematics.
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours as our customers have 24/7 operations.
- Must be willing to travel a seasonal team rotation, as this position serves clients nationally and internationally.
