The individual that fills this position will supervise existing accounts over numerous industries to ensure customer needs are met and create new business for them by identifying profitable opportunities. Primary job functions:

• Manage and develop existing client portfolio of 200-250 accounts
• Set sales targets and performance metrics to increase client sales and purchases
• Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales rep for further development and closure
• Facilitate transactions of products and services throughout local and national businesses
• Sell across diverse industries
• Suggest opportunities and upsell
• Administrative duties such as order fulfillment, inventory and UPS.

What you need to be successful:

• B2B sales experience preferred
• Confidence and enthusiasm selling over the phone
• Outgoing and engaging personality
• Knowledge and previous use of Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Be familiar with sales performance metrics
• Have reliable transportation
