INTERNATIONAL COOLING TOWER INC. (ICT) is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Deer Park, TX
SUMMARY
The Project Accountant specializing in Time and Material projects will be responsible for ensuring all costs including labor, per diem, material, equipment, subcontractor costs, are captured and invoiced for Master Service Agreement clients, as well as preparation of weekly and month-end reporting and invoicing. As a key support for the senior cost accountant and project management team, you will be relied on to provide accurate and timely information ensuring all costs are billed and budgeted margin is achieved. We are a high-volume transacting company.
JOB DUTIES
- Set up new projects, cost codes, and budgets. Ensure PO/quote package is complete.
- Create tallies to be used as back for invoicing, matching to payroll hours paid.
- Customer Track entry and allocation
- Ensure all costs including labor, per diem, equipment, material etc are captured on invoices.
- Review site payroll information weekly.
- Enter, track and review budgets against actual costs, report on variances. Identify projects which require customer purchase order increases as per contract requirements.
- Highlight issues that causing margin fade.
- Interfacing with clients on overdue accounts
- Various other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Diploma or degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relative experience
- Detail oriented, organized.
- Must be an advanced user of MS Excel and comfortable learning new software packages
- Previous experience with eCMS and client facing TRACK programs are an asset
- Experience in the industrial construction industry and Master Service Agreements
- Must possess proven communication and interpersonal skills
