1. Creates/Designs work cell layouts.
2. Creates/Designs work cell flows.
3. Process utilization.
4. Establish/calculate manpower by design for All programs.
5. Establish/design process steps and sequence of operation for ALL jobs/programs.
6. Completion of time studies for all programs.
7. Ensure EOAT development for ALL programs (where needed).
8. Ensure development of assembly aids, fixtures, degating machines, and EOAT quality gate control items.
9. Responsible for warehouse layout and improvement.
10. Responsible for plant layouts and improvements.
11. Responsible to work and assist program management with packing design.
12. Creates/Designs material and parts pull flow.
13. Responsible for special projects as requested by management.
14. Assists program management with launches of major programs.
15. Responsible for creating packaging designs and pallet load designs for parts.
16. Lean Manufacturing – lead/facilitate with plant.
17. Lead Kaizen activity with plant and CIP team.
18. Standardization activity throughout plant.
19. Work with Safety Coordinator to improve safety throughout plant (i.e. safety cages, floor rails, bumpers, etc.).
20. Assist production to eliminate and minimize regrind waste.
21. Potentially identify a buyer/resource for regrind.
22. Resource cost efficient suppliers for forklifts, mold loading systems, dryers, hoppers throughout the plant for
improvement activity.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Education and Experience:
Minimum four (4) years in Manufacturing Engineering or 5-7 years of experience in related field. Technical degree required.
Skills:
Must be able to multi-task. Good personal skills. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Excel
with cost formulations and time study analysis. Knowledge of blueprint reading and CAD design is a plus. Proficient with setting
up and establishing man-power standards and work analysis. Proficient with Auto-CAD or similar 3D software for layout design
and work cell layout design. Proficient in motion study analysis.
Certificates:
None required, but would be a plus.

Must be able to stand for multiple hours as required and be able to lift 15-20 pounds (occasionally more) when required. Must be
