Financial Analyst – Troy Engineering Center

Job Description

Position Summary:

This position supports IAC’s NA Engineering, Design & Development teams, reporting to the VP of Manufacturing Engineering and Development. Financial Analysis role provides financial and business support to the NA Engineering, Design & Development teams, those teams consist of Engineering, Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Development Engineering, Testing Laboratories, Facilities shipping & receiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Test billings between the Troy Lab and internal/external entities.
• Supply billing details to the corporate finance department
• Rapid prototype billings between the Troy Lab and internal/external entities
• Test Report releases between the Troy Lab and internal/external entities.
• Test report upload for external test labs into IAC intranet.
• Maintain testing forecast plan with timing.
• Support P-Card activities for all the separate teams at the Troy campus, reconcile charges to department work orders, month end summaries.
• Support writing/approving purchase requisitions for the Advanced development and facilities teams
• Generate P.O.’s, approve invoices, process supplier add/change forms, sourcing rational support for P.O.’s > $50,000
• Order office, janitorial and facility supplies.
• Maintain yearly review of Troy campus core asset file
• Support internal or external tour preparations with conference room reservations, meal planning or Troy campus communication
• Help prepare Power Point presentations and Excel spreadsheets when the need arises to support internal/external meeting
• Identify improvements to existing processes and work with respective teams to execute

Minimum Requirements

• BS in Finance or Accounting
• Ability to craft a story using data
• Must be a motivated self-starter and intellectually curious
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to Travel, if needed ~10%

Preferred Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience of Business or Automotive Experience
• Experience in FP&A and/or within Plant Finance
• Experience in a multi-site environment
• Experience with Hyperion
• Experience with AS400
