Morgan Country Rural Electric Association (Morgan County REA) is on the hunt for a full-time Manager of Member Services to join our dynamic team in Fort Morgan, CO.

We proudly provide a competitive salary between $95,000 - $115,000 . We also offer the following benefits:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, political science, business or public administration OR 6 years of experience in public relations, marketing, management, supervision, government and community relations, and civic and community service
  • Valid Colorado driver's license
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal political processes
  • General knowledge of electric utility operation, journalism, public relations, and communications principles and techniques

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A MANAGER OF MEMBER SERVICES

As the Manager of Member Services at Morgan County REA, your day is dynamic and focused. You lead a comprehensive public relations program, oversee community relations activities, and ensure branding consistency across communications. Legal compliance, internal communications, and team leadership are your daily priorities.

You develop and implement marketing strategies, manage governmental relations, and maintain positive relationships with officials. Energy conservation efforts and effective key accounts management are also central to your role.

As a key member of our team, you contribute to policy formulation and budget planning, ensuring the smooth operation of the Member Services Department within established objectives and policies.

Organized in 1937 as Colorado's third rural electric association, we energized our first 175 miles of lines the following year. Today, our service area covers approximately 4,000 square miles of northeastern Colorado and is divided into three representative districts. As a member-owned cooperative, we are dedicated to serving our members by providing safe, reliable energy with a strong tradition and vision for the future.
