Interim Healthcare is Hiring a Med Tech Near Lynchburg, VA

Interim HealthCare is currently looking to hire Med Techs with long term care experience and a commitment to patient care to join our Team!

Flexible hours, easy scheduling and a caring team are just a few reasons we have caregivers that have been with us for over a decade!

  • Work is normally performed in nursing homes, rehab facilities or occupational settings.
  • Provides for patient’s personal hygiene, grooming and comfort needs.
  • Observes and reports the condition of patients to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assists with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Completes accurate documentation of the medication administration record (MAR)
  • Monitors individual medications of the residents and ensures adequate supply of medications for residents
  • Ensures proper and accurate medication administration
  • Must demonstrate and have knowledge and understanding of medication administration procedures 
  • Knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents, and provides support to residents according to their care plan
  • Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Medium physical activity that may require constant lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications: Must hold a current and valid license as an RMA/Med Tech from the Virginia Board of Nursing/Department of Health Professions
