Duties Include:

As a Hospice Administrator, you will:

  • Act as a liaison with the owner/governing body, including provision of reports as designated by the owner/governing body
  • Ensure the implementation of the budgeting process and accounting system, as well as achievement of financial goals
  • Manage information systems that support the operation of hospice
  • Ensure patient/family has access to appropriate management staff during all hours of operation
  • Ensure that hospice employees are aware of the law and regulation that applies to their responsibilities
  • Ensure an appropriate response to the findings of internal and external reviews

To Qualify as a Hospice Administrator with us:

  • A bachelor s degree in nursing required
  • RN licensure
  • Hospice experience strongly preferred
  • Training and experience in healthcare administration
  • Three (3) years experience in health care management within the last five (5) years
  • Experience working with financial statements and being responsible for the profitability of a business unit, preferred
