Interim HealthCare - Louisville, KY is Hiring a Care Coordinator Near Louisville, KY

Care Coordinator

The Care Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative functions for the recruiting and hiring process. In this leadership position, the Care Coordinator also supports employee and client relations from hiring through the first 90 days of employment and serves as a backup for the payroll/benefits administrator. This position requires an 80% in-office setting and 20% hands-on patient care. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date job postings and work closely with the Scheduler and Office Manager
  • Maintain metrics to promote optimal hiring practices of qualified candidates
  • Coordinate and facilitate full cycle onboarding and orientation process
  • Analyze relevant HR data and reports and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Assists with the completion of required documentation, payroll, and overall compliance efforts
  • Building and developing rapport with clients to improve business relationships resulting in acquiring additional staffing business with long-term and new clients
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other networking meetings or seminars.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
  • Take an On-Call Rotation.
  • May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and the ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department. 

Required Education:

High School degree or equivalent

Preferred Education: C.N.A. License

Basic Qualification:

  • Must be 21 years old
  • Valid KY CNA license with 5 years of experience working in the senior field is a plus OR a Minimum of 8 years experience in a hands-on patient care/home health role would be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a high-level proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Understands basic medical/healthcare terminology
  • Task-oriented, and organized, with experience following structured processes and follow-through skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem solve
  • Must be able to work independently yet work together as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in balancing multiple priorities in an environment where change is constant, must be able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a highly motivated personality
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license & to have dependable transportation
  • Current Valid TB test or chest x-ray
  • COVID Vaccination is not required, however, highly recommended
  • Drug Screen Required
  • Background check required
