WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provides technical support to staff over the phone, remotely and in person
• Process all Service Desk requests, triage initial requests for resolution or escalation
• Diagnoses and resolves desktop computer hardware, software, and other technical service issues
• Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of computer equipment, peripherals, and other technical services in a multi-site networked environment
• Works independently and prioritizes work based upon business needs
• Maintains department records and databases including ticketing system, asset management system, hardware and software configuration, and installation procedures, spare parts inventory, and software license records
• Answers staff questions, troubleshoot problems, determine hardware/software requirements, and recommend solutions
• Assist the Director of Operations in preparing 5-year capital budgets and makes recommendations and monitors budget expenditures
• Assists the Director of Operations in soliciting bids and quotes from vendors and contractors
• Promptly notifies supervisor (as well as other appropriate staff) of any problematic facilities issues, or any other problems that arise
• Participates in meetings if directed, and completes all required trainings
• Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• 2 Years’ experience in providing hardware, peripherals, connectivity and application support in a networked, Microsoft Windows multi-site environment required
• A Certification preferred
• Professional training/certification (i.e., CompTIA A , Network , Security , MCITP, MCSA preferred
