The Role:

Intel 471 is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our world-class team. The role can be located in the US on a remote basis.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving strategic and operational improvements, will have a strong analytical and financial planning background and experience with the SaaS business model. This is an exciting, high-profile role, rich in analytics and plays a critical role to support strategic decision-making. The individual in this role will assist the VP of FP&A in various capacities. This includes, but is not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, budget vs. actual variance analysis, KPI tracking, business partnering, and decision support to senior business leaders. Intel471 is a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo (one of the top private equity firms in the world). This role will have exposure to work with the best-in-class operation team at TB.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the rolling monthly forecasting model
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets including variance analysis against plan/forecast
• Implement NSPB planning software (NSPB is similar to Adaptive)
• Partner cross-functionally with senior business leaders and C-suite to provide in-depth analysis and actionable insights to improve processes, optimize ARR and drive bottom line results
• Improve our internal process and procedures, establishing best practices as well as leading change and improvements to enable the team to scale and grow
• Assist in board prep, M&A integration, etc.
• Report the standard SaaS metrics (Bookings, ARR, renewals, upsell, churn)

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in FP&A in the technology industry
• Advanced modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SaaS business models
• Experience managing NSPB, Adaptive or similar model (Anaplan, Planful, etc.)
• US GAAP knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related relevant areas.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with personnel throughout the company including senior business leaders and C-suite
• Positive attitude, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment; ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The following are nice to haves:

• Systems experience in NetSuite, Salesforce
• Accounting experience

The role will report to our VP of Financial Planning & Analysis but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role is available anywhere in the US and involves occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. The role requires regular contact with our international team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia so a comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
