Overview
i3 has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.
Responsibilities
- Contributing team member solving highly technical problems in the area of EW technologies.
- Design and develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for controlling and monitoring EW systems.
- Design and develop embedded software in EW applications.
- Support integration and verification testing in laboratory and field environments.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience.
- Experience with C/C and Python languages.
- Experience with Qt C GUI development framework.
- Expert in NI LabWindows CVI.
Desired:
- 30 years of experience.
- Experience with PC-104 embedded systems.
- Experience with digital signal processing.
- Experience developing and debugging embedded software.
- Experience with radar systems.
