Integrated Water Services, Inc. is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Longmont, CO

High growth water and wastewater design/build construction firm is actively seeking an experienced Construction Manager to manage projects in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona, and other locations in Rocky Mountain Division. Qualified candidates will offer 10 - 15 years of water/wastewater and or civil construction experience. Candidates must be capable of leading a team of experienced company personnel to execute treatment system construction projects from contract inception to closeout.

Responsibilities:

  • The Construction Manager responsible for overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project (s).
  • Oversees all business areas on their project such as procurement, planning, human capital, profitability, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with IWS staff to effectively manage the budgeting & forecasting process.
  • Closely monitor & communicate to the Vice President; Project Status/Risk & Opportunities.
  • Manage the pursuit of project claims & change orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring the development & use of a CPM schedule throughout the life of the project,
  • Engage project and corporate level contract management to address & resolve contractual issues & claims.
  • Participate in project level staff meetings and all major decisions.
  • Establish & promote a safety culture through active representation
  • Oversee procurement or Buy-out process to ensure it adhere to set budget
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business partners
  • Works with and evaluates existing superintendents
  • Handles all construction issues in the field
  • Travel required RMD

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 15 years civil construction experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory laws and responsibilities
  • Teamwork and leadership skills

Seeking candidates willing to travel to project sites while being based at a location of their choice – no need to relocate. Project opportunities available throughout the Western US. Candidates must have water and wastewater treatment, and/or extensive underground construction experience to be considered. Travel expenses, per diem, housing, truck allowance provided.
