** Hours are Monday through Friday. No Weekends **

· Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.

· Establish medical diagnosis.

· Record patient medical histories and symptoms.

· Provide medical management.

· Accurately and appropriately transcribe or execute standing orders at the direction of the supervising physician. Write specific orders within the limits of the practice agreement/scope of practice.

· Discuss proposed surgical procedures with attendant risks and potential complications to obtain proper patient informed consent.

· See patients in follow-up for routine post-operative care and manage complications related to surgery.

· Provide appropriate direction to clinic staff regarding patient care issues.

· Communicate effectively with referring health care providers.

· Train patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.

· Perform hospital rounding and consults.

Requirements

· Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.

· RN licensure in the state of Minnesota and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP.

· Must have prescriptive authorization

· Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work.

· Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.

· Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with retail and medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians and representatives of the community.

· Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.

· Knowledge of disease prevention.
