Description
- Obtain information about patient insurance coverage, benefits and eligibility
- Request, obtain, and document (within software) all prior authorizations related to medications and radiology
- Appeal insurance companies for any prior authorizations denials
- Coordinate with Scheduling, Billing Office and Front Desk Staff on prior authorization activity.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Urology Experience desired.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes and their use
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
