Summary:

The Associate Account Manager provides balance to the organization by supporting projects and special requests for existing clients, project-based clients, and prospective clients. This position may also support clients through a lead role, serving as the Account Manager for named accounts, and providing administrative support, as needed, to the Client Services team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for projects and special programs
  • Gather and document requirements from client or from client-facing team member (President, Sales, Account Manager)
  • Secure quote using internal quote procedure; Prepare client-facing quote and submit to client or appropriate team member
  • Develop list of deliverables and monitor deadlines
  • Enter Project/Job in TJT, including quote and instructions
  • Enter Purchase Orders, as necessary, for materials and outsourced print needs
  • Enter Orders, as necessary
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all available packaging materials (stock and non-stock) and stay abreast of lead times for same
  • Schedule meetings with internal department heads, as needed, to review expectations and meet deadlines
  • Generate reports and invoices at project/program conclusion or on recurring billing cycle
  • Facilitate effective and appropriate communications between client and operations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform the duties of an Administrative Assistant, as requested, to support clients and the Client Services team
  • Perform the duties of an Account Manager, as requested, to support clients and the Client Services team

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and follow-up
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sound judgement
  • Adaptation to change in accordance with client and organizational needs
  • Demonstrated success coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced in office protocol
  • Flexible attitude and work ability

  • Solid experience with popular software applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word
