Integrated Life Choices is seeking a Job Coach in Longmont, CO to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are either seeking competitive employment and/or currently employed in the community.

To be successful in this position one must be able to provide person-centered support to meet the needs of the people we support within the work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting job analysis to identify job duties
• Developing specific plans to best assist the people we support in being as independent as possible (which includes teaching self-management strategies, comprehending job expectations and workplace policies)
• Providing day to day opportunities which support and guide current and future employees in achieving goals
• Job Coach must be able to model productive behavior as well as teach life improving and daily skills.

Requirements

This position does require flexibility in work hours. Candidates MUST be available to work early evenings and/or weekends. Candidates may also work some overtime; work schedules must be adjusted to meet the needs of the persons we support and as caseloads change. In addition, candidates must have the ability to calculate and complete basic math transactions needed for handling cash; maintain a checkbook/household budget; utilize strong verbal and written communication skills; have the ability to read and interpret procedures, instructions, and detailed material; be flexible, patient and be able to remain calm and focused under stressful/provoking situations.

Qualified candidates will be 19 years of age, have an HS diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s and transportation, and MUST have two or more years of experience providing support to people with disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates who meet these qualifications who also have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Pay Rate - $18.25
