Job Purpose: Serve on the Integrated Information Management Systems Information Technology Support Services (IIMS-ITSS) contract as an Enterprise Management, System Administration (SA) Journeyman for the JSSC at the Pentagon, Washington DC, responsible for support in managing the functionality and efficiency of multiple JSSC owned/operated systems and providing customer application development/administration supporting systems within the National Military Command Center (NMCC) Command and Control System (NCCS) Operating Environment (OE).

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional secure office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Government or ICS-owned equipment and materials will be maintained in a safe and secure location. While working in a remote office capacity, the position requires a safe and ergonomically sound work environment and to hold ICS harmless for injury to others at the remote location.
Physical / Mental Demands
This is primarily a sedentary role; however, some mobility and filing may be required. This would require the ability to move from one location to another, lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to make read, analyze and interpret data for long periods and make decisions in a high-pressure environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full time position working at least 40 hours week to meet the needs to the contract hours requirement. The employee must be available to work during DISA core business hours, 6:30am to 6:00pm Eastern Standard Time, and is expected to work at least 8 hours a day beginning and ending their work day within the DISA core business hours. After hours or work in addition to 40 per week may be necessary.
Travel
Limited travel is expected for this position, less than 10% throughout the year.

Qualifications:
1. Demonstrate technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge in Unix based operating systems to include performing a variety of complex assignments to include being proficient with installation, configuring, managing, monitoring and controlling operating and supporting system software
2. Ability to perform a variety of complex assignments to include analysis of system faults, troubleshooting incidents, and conducting a series of diagnostic tests on both systems and hardware to detect, prevent and resolve problems effectively and efficiently
3. Demonstrated technical expertise and knowledge in small custom application development to include the creation/engineering of applications and or processes using accepted ITIL process for version control, change management, and service delivery
4. Proven experience reviewing and preparing technical documentation, testing and installing software, researching and recommending methods and techniques to improve operations, conducting preventive maintenance, and managing/administering multiple technical projects with varying schedules to achieve optimal operation efficiency

Minimum active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to be SCI indoctrinated
