What you’ll do in this role: The Training Supervisor has daily responsibility for providing direct supervision and mentorship to training coordinators and managing and coordinating manufacturing training activities. You will be the primary leader for development and deployment of the site manufacturing training systems and tools. You will also be responsible for optimizing all training activities across the site through strong cross-functional leadership competencies and adherence to Integer Values. • Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. • Lead, coordinate & manage the activities of the training team • Develop and implement Strategic Training programs, Personnel Development program for all the company employees • Own Onboarding, On the Job (OTJ) Train the Trainer program and Training within Industry (TWI) methodology and continuously evaluate ways to improve onboarding, training, and development process • Ensure maintenance of site training compliance and represent the company in internal and external training audits as required by regulatory bodies, customers etc. • Perform and document required annual training courses including, but not limited to, Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Quality Management System awareness • Build training on short notice related to new process and product roll outs or changes • Collaborate with operations teams to identify training needs and priorities • Stay current on industry trends, techniques and strategies and take initiative to incorporate into training content • Capture and measure training effectiveness to ensure they are supporting objectives and communicate training metrics; develop and execute weekly/monthly reports to track training adherence • Develop learning curves • Lead by example in implementing improvements in the training function and strategically developing enhanced training programs, in line with company strategies (i.e.; Lean, PDCA, JBS, etc.) and in collaboration with the training coordinators, operations team and quality • Manage change requests related to training requirements, own CAPA, audit findings and/or actions related to training • Lead implementation of new training systems at site such as a Learning Management System (LMS) • Ensure training system meets the requirements of the governing regulations • Lead relevant manufacturing site Training projects • Performs other duties as required How you will be measured: • Live the Integer Values through leading by example • Assist the sites in achieving its annual goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people • Achieve weekly/monthly/annual training metrics • Ensure high quality training programs that support the products being produced with the highest level of quality through adherence to controlled documentation • Deliver optimizes training initiatives to support production and the delivery of products to customers on time • Promotes engagement and designs and manages a work class training system dedicated to the development of people What sets you apart: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline or a combination of education (High School diploma, Associates Degree) and 5 years of experience in leading people and teams Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment leading a training program Specialized Knowledge: o Seasoned expertise in training in a manufacturing environment with ownership and responsibilities outlined above o Leadership and a clear preference for working in a team environment and establishing an expectation that team comes before self o Direct management of people in a fast paced and complex manufacturing environment o Strong communication & interpersonal skills, bias for action, decision making and problem-solving skills o Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements and audits o Background and experience in Lean & Six sigma methodologies o Knowledge of TWI (Training Within Industry) method desirable o Experience of working in a regulated environment is desirable o Ability to improve training methods and experience in the design of training Special Skills: o Possess change agent mentality o Ability to influence at all levels of the organization o Well-developed skills for planning, executing and delivering projects to expected results o Ability to motivate, coach and mentor o Possess the spirit of collaboration and the desire to lead U.S. Applicants: EOE/AA Disability/Veteran
