Monitors and reviews all performance metrics which include but not limited to production efficiencies, shipments and delivery, quality metrics, revenue, safety and environmental, business continuity plans and others. Accountable for the ongoing development of high performing associates and teams. Also responsible for identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives within the value stream. May manage more than one building. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to Integer Values and all safety and quality requirements. Establishes clear accountabilities for their direct reports and staffs to motivate and develop through understanding and lifelong learning. Provides leadership for the Value Streams which includes operations leaders, supervisors and (direct reporting line) Oversees and participates in the daily production operations through personal interaction with the production staff. Leverages Integer Production Systems (IPS)/Production Monitoring and Improvement Porcess (PMIP) as programs and procedures are implemented within the Value Stream to improve safety, quality and customer indicators, reduce waste, improve processes and labor efficiencies, and reduce direct operating expenses. Provides direction and leadership in the resolution of technical and production-related problems to assure completion including customer issues. Participates in the development of production plans with representatives from other departments, such as Production, Planning, Continuous Improvement, Customer Service, and Materials to ensure that production performance standards meet customer requirements. Aligns with Product Development Engineering. Follows up with various functional departments to monitor the status of plan versus actual performance. Develops and maintains direct relationships with customers in order to better understand the voice of the customer. Participates on customer business reviews and will generate the necessary action plants in order to achieve outstanding customer service results. Establishes effective staffing strategies to meet performance requirements including the balance of full-time and flex staffing options. Provides direction to ensure continuance of an issue-free work environment. Develops and monitors budgetary guidelines and spending levels to ensure cost-effective operation within the VS unit. Prepares and manages departmental and capital expenditure budgets. Plays and key role in the SIOP and long term forecasting process to ensure sufficient capacity is in place to meet Customer demand on existing and new programs Performs other functions as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a Business related discipline. Master’s degree preferred. 8 years experience in a production environment, 5 of which are in a managerial capacity. Strong Project Management skills. Lean Manufacturing experiences. Strong team development and dynamic team coaching skills Strong communication skills both written and oral. Negotiation skills. Well-developed analytical problem solving skills.
