Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for experienced shipping and receiving clerk to join our team in Santa Ana. Key tasks:

• This position is be responsible for the smooth flow of inventory into and out of our manufacturing plant
• Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes using proper procedures and materials
• Ship goods and verify items against import/export requirements where applicable
• Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations
• Verify identification and quality of product
• Posts weight and shipping charges
• Stamps, stencils or attaches information and shipping instructions on containers
• Receive and unpacks goods
• Record shipped & received items according to established system procedures
• Ensure the completion of all paperwork relating to the shipment of goods
• Assist with loading, unloading and transport of materials and finished product

Skills Required:

• While performing the duties of this job, you will frequently be required to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. It is frequently required to repeat the same motions; sit and/or stand for extended periods of time; bend or twist the body.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English. Spanish/English proficiency is desirable.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• This position is production-oriented and the successful candidate should be comfortable in a high volume, busy, industrial work setting
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
