About the Role

The Marketing Associate will help drive our growth by developing and implementing the company's Marketing strategy across a variety of channels including but not limited to: social media, Google, events, and content marketing. You’ll be a key member of our Marketing team and partner closely with our Sales team, Product team, Executives, external stakeholders, and internal resources to create clear brand messaging, deliverables, resources, and content that build the Insticator brand and support our revenue and growth targets. You should be hungry to make your impact in a fast-paced start-up environment.

We’re looking for a proactive, self-starter with outstanding organizational and project management skills. Areas of responsibility include sales enablement, product marketing, content development, website maintenance, events and communications. This individual should be obsessed with continuous improvement and should be confident in speaking-up with their ideas to help improve existing assets. 


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage customer acquisition costs, analyze results and adjust strategy as needed
  • Strong understanding of foundations that measure marketing leads
  • Ability to create a marketing funnel that drives as many highly qualified leads as possible
  • Document and level up the marketing department
  • Manage internal marketing resources and external vendors
  • Manage corporate website (Wordpress) and sub-brand websites
  • Create and implement content marketing strategy
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to ensure marketing collateral for sales enablement exists and supports Sales team efforts
  • Prepare and distribute marketing and internal communications; e.g., press releases, newsletters, blog posts, advertising copy, awards submissions.
  • Handle event planning and logistics for virtual and potentially in-person events
  • Develop and manage relationships with with third-party vendors
  • Drive marketing strategy with Leadership team
  • Create sales presentations and collateral development
  • Other duties as assigned, of course!


Professional Competencies

  • 3 years of B2B marketing experience in a product tech company, preferably in media, advertising, or a technology industry
  • Experience marketing to publishers would be a big advantage
  • High proficiency in G Suite
  • High proficiency in Hubspot CRM and Marketing Hub
  • Intermediate proficiency in Wordpress or other CMS platforms
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and set and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrable written and communication skills
  • Experience creating a customer acquisition funnel and lead scoring
  • Knowledge of common graphic design applications a plus; Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Abstract, Figma
  • This is a hybrid position, coming into our NYC office three-times a week
