What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development and Construction Internship - Summer 2024 position at Inspire Brands?
This opportunity on the Development team will help support company and franchisee development working cross functionally with Real Estate, Construction, Franchise Development, and Restaurant Operations for both new store and remodel programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Construction team to manage multiple remodel construction projects of existing franchisee or corporate owned assets across multiple brands
- Partner and collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to the Brand-specific design and construction standards
- Support broader team on project schedules by tracking remodel work based on defined critical path project timelines
- Work cross functionally with key Inspire stakeholders, such as design, procurement, operations, real estate, legal, and others
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Minimum: Pursuing a 4-year degree (preferably in Construction Management, or other related programs of study)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience and interest working in Project Management, specifically within Construction
- Proficiency using MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with high attention to detail
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
